Workshops & Presentations

Funlosophy programs range from half day to multiple-day activities. Whether your team consists of 5 or 105, these programs are created to meet your group and individual needs. Teams can expect to see growth and learning as participants share experiences that will stimulate thoughts and behaviors and impact them personally and professionally.

Workshops and Presentations include:

Communication - Communication is the key to teamwork. Effective communication does not always mean that individuals are in agreement. What is the current standard for communication in your organization? How important is listening in your company's communication process? Funlosophy's activities will evaluate the current norm for communication and look for ways to improve your organization's skills.

Teamwork and Teambuilding - Creative thinking is an essential byproduct of teamwork. Building a team can be done with a new group or with a group that has worked together for any amount of time and who see the need to get outside their self-developed box, to change their paradigm. Funlosophy specializes in teambuilding, and individual building in the process, coaching teams capable of quantum leaps.

Problem Solving - Funlosophy's programs challenge groups, and individuals within groups, to work effectively and efficiently toward solving problems. Does everyone in your organization do the same job? Do they do different jobs? Do they learn from each other? Do they collaborate with each other? Do they produce as a team or as a group of individuals?

Trust - Trust is difficult to measure but easy to see. Do people in your organization trust each other? Do they feel free to take risks? Are they encouraged to trust each other, or have they been rewarded in the past for interoffice competition? Competition is a vital element in building strong organizations, but are they competing against each other, against other organizations, or simply setting their own standards higher and competing against their own past progress? Funlosophy can facilitate raising the bar as it encourages trust building within the organizational environment.

Experiential Learning - An ancient Chinese Proverb teaches us the value of hands-on training. "Tell me, and I will forget. Show me, and I may remember. Involve me, and I will understand." Experinetial learning is person to person, eye to eye learning. Funlosophy's activities raise learning to the next level for teams and each individual within the team. People learn not only from each other, but also from self-reflection and self-evaluation.

Leadership - Some leaders may be born, but they are also made, nurtured, and can always learn new tricks. Training to think inside the box is as vital as learning to think outside if people work as a team. Funlosophy programs hone leadership skills to a finer edge. Leaders differ from managers.

Collaborative Decision Making - Teams use each other as resources and decisions are the product of all available resources. Teams learn from each other and from experience. Funlosophy programs will create environments where collaboration is key and then relate that collaborative effort to real work environments.

Diversity Training - People bring differences to each situation that can strengthen the work team, go unnoticed, or damage the group, depending on the skill of the team as a unit to adapt to change. Change can be a powerful tool when teams are prepared and willing to accept it. Funlosophy programs encourage awareness of potentiality, of people, of resources other than people, of self.

Conflict Management - Conflict is a perspective. Disagreement is a vital element in progress. How people deal with conflict is critical. Funlosophy programs create practice situations to evaluate and improve how individuals and groups of individuals deal with conflict in order to deal more effectively with conflict in the work environment.

Large Group Icebreakers, Warm-ups, and Games - Getting people to talk to each other is simple in theory, but it is not always as easy to do in the workplace. Getting people to interact, to talk to each other, is an art. Funlosophy can provide the platform necessary for people to talk to each other, to laugh together, and to walk away knowing more about each other and understanding simple differences after a series of quick, yet focused, energizers. Participation is always voluntary and Funlosophy strives to create and utilize activities that help people feel more comfortable with each other.

Peer Coaching - Most organizations have the expertise to create leaps within their own personnel, but many do not have the techniques for relaying needed information from one employee to another. Funlosophy programs can help bring out the coach in anyone interested in a supervisory role.

Creative Agenda Facilitation - Some organizations just need someone to keep them focused and create a little laughter for an important meeting or retreat. Funlosophy can provide the organization your team needs to move forward.

Keynote Presentations - Funlosophy can get a meeting started, provide a fun break in the middle of the day, or send people away at the end of a day thinking about how they will use what they learned in other sessions. Keynotes are designed to meet the needs of your team or organization. Activities are designed to be memorable and to provide a common base from which to build future experiences and relationships. As teams work through these initiatives, they develop and enhance team culture. The goal of Funlosophy's programs is to bring groups together through a positive, powerful set of activities to facilitate quantum leaps in production, both for the team and for the individual.
